Rain Barrels - (Eastern Kansas in Lawrence, KS

The rain barrels I make originally held soda syrup (NO CHEMICALS). I like using the white barrels, they seem to blend into the gardens better than the blue or black ones. With the darker colored barrels they seem to heat up the water more which is tougher on the plants. You can paint plastic barrels with a spray paint designed to adhere to plastic.
